The Dog Wizard (TDW): Technology & Marketing Roadmap

A Strategic Snapshot of Our Conversion Funnel, National Lead Routing, and Local Automation Sandbox.

🎯 Our Strategic Vision

At TDW, our mission is to build the highest-converting, most cost-effective lead-generation and operational pipeline in the canine training industry.

To achieve this, we focus on a Decentralized Hub-and-Spoke architecture:

  1. HQ-Core (The Hub): Standardizes lead acquisition (National Marketing) and operational transaction engines (PocketSuite & Quo) to keep system-wide technology costs as low as possible.
  2. Franchisee-Sandbox (The Spokes): Standardizes APIs and data pipelines so high-performance owners can build customized local RevOps engines (using CRM, SMS, and AI tools) without requiring custom code or increasing network fees.

🗺️ The End-to-End Conversion Funnel

Our technology ecosystem is built to support a customer’s journey from their first search to a lifetime graduate client.

1. Attract (Marketing Initiatives)

  • National Campaign Architecture: Run by HQ Marketing to generate baseline brand equity and local territory awareness.
  • Local Ad Spend Execution: Coordinated local search and social campaigns engineered to capture qualified dog owners.

2. Capture (PocketSuite Lead Forms)

  • Standardized web forms embedded directly on local territory websites.
  • Every submission instantly creates a unified Contact Record inside the TDW system.

3. Route (Automated Geographic Zip-to-Franchise Engine)

  • How it works: When a contact enters a zip code, our custom-coded backend instantly traverses our custom zip and territory data schemas.
  • The Result: The contact is instantly associated with the correct local franchise company profile and mapped in real-time, preventing lead leakage.

4. Engage (Lead Management & Communication)

  • Standardized local Quo (OpenPhone) lines for centralized, trackable outbound calls and text-message outreach.
  • Core Feature: Outreach status and calls are automatically logged directly to client activity logs.

5. Convert (The Booking & Evaluation Engine)

  • Seamless booking flow via PocketSuite for in-person evaluations and training sessions.
  • Automated confirmation templates and scheduling sync.

🛠️ In-Flight Development & Near-Term Roadmap

We continuously optimize the stability, speed, and capability of our technology. Below are the key pillars of our active roadmap:

🚀 Active Implementations (Q3–Q4 2026)

  1. Looker Studio Pro KPI Dashboards: Transitioning to a secure, service-account-driven dashboard architecture. This gives franchise owners real-time, visual reporting of local territory lead conversion, ad performance, and operational KPIs.
  2. Data Integration Stabilization: Upgrading underlying database connectors to prevent sync disruptions between PocketSuite data exports and central reporting engines.
  3. Zapier Integration standardizing: Validating standard triggers so any franchise owner can seamlessly connect their local PocketSuite data to over 9,000 external tools—including HubSpot, Asana, Monday, and AI agents—via a zero-code configuration.

🔮 Future Enhancement Areas (Under Evaluation)

  • HubSpot Sales Hub Pro Add-on Template: HQ is testing standard template configurations for geographic Zip-Code associations and lead state pipeline automations. If a location chooses to invest in HubSpot, HQ can deploy these standardized blueprints directly into their workspace.
  • Automated Mid-Funnel Nurturing Templates: Reviewing pre-built SMS/Email sequences for owners to deploy directly via Quo or third-party CRM platforms during the “Connected but not yet Booked” stage.

🔓 How to Shape Priorities & Build Locally

Because we guard our flat tech fee structure, we encourage owners to leverage our Open Sandbox:

  • Deploy Local Integrations: Use our standardized Zapier hooks to automate your local workflows. (HQ provides the setup documentation and connection tokens).
  • Provide Feedback: Submit high-value use cases to HQ Marketing & Operations. We track feature adoption in the sandbox; features with high network demand are prioritized for standardization in HQ-Optional templates.
